BIOMEDIN 217: Translational Bioinformatics

I was a graduate teaching assistant for BIOMEDIN 217: Translational Bioinformatics with Professor Dennis Wall. I held office hours, graded coursework, and facilitated course discussion. This course was part of the core curriculum in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford. I was on course staff in Winter 2021 and Winter 2022.

Course Information
Computational methods for the translation of biomedical data into diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic applications in medicine. Topics: multi-scale omics data generation and analysis, utility and limitations of public biomedical resources, machine learning and data mining, issues and opportunities in drug discovery, and mobile/digital health solutions. Case studies and course project.
